Wireline backup

A national coffee retailer uses Junxion for backup connectivity in their stores. When there is an outage with a primary DSL line at a store, the WAN Juggler feature on the Junxion Box ensures a seamless failover to ensure the store's point-of-sale terminals remain connected. Field Commander also issues a failover alert to IT managers so the primary wireline connection can be troubleshooted and restored.

This Field Commander screen shot shows an IT administrator setting up a new alert for a Junxion Box in a store. Three alerts have been created for this unit. The first will notify the IT administrator if the primary connection fails (DSL, in this case) and WAN Juggler rolls connectivity over to the cellular card for backup. The second alert will be triggered by any cellular outage on the data card. And the third alert will notify administrators if the Junxion Box leaves a geo-fence created around the store and is moved to another location or stolen.
